TERMS & CONDITIONS Cart & Co. Curacao These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by Cart & Co. Curacao. By confirming a booking, you (“the client”) agree to the following terms. Cart & Co. Curacao is a service operated by SJLRock B.V.. 1. Booking and payment 1.1 Booking process To initiate a booking, the client must complete the online booking form. Cart & Co. Curacao will respond via email within three (3) business days to confirm availability. 1.2 Deposit and confirmation A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. The booking is only confirmed once the deposit has been received and Cart & Co. Curacao has sent a written confirmation. 1.3 Final payment The remaining balance must be paid no later than three (3) day before the event. Failure to complete payment in time may result in cancellation of the service. 1.4 Quotes Quotes are based on the information provided in the booking form and are valid for seven (7) days unless otherwise agreed. 2. Event preparation and requirements 2.1 Setup and access The client must ensure that the event location is accessible and suitable for setup. Cart & Co. Curacao typically requires: •1 hour - 30 minutes prior to service for setup and 1 - 30 minutes hour afterward for breakdown •A minimum space of 2.5 x 2 meters per cart •Access to a 110-volt power source for carts requiring electricity (such as the WafflePop cart) •Notification if an extension cord is needed 2.2 Event details The client will be asked to confirm event details including: •Exact event location, layout, and timing •Contact person (e.g. event planner or host) •Access to electricity (and water, if applicable) •Dietary or allergy information for guests •Preferred cart hire duration Any changes must be communicated in writing at least 1 week before the event. 2.3 Dietary information Certain menu items contain allergens. •Waffle batter contains flour, eggs, and milk •Charcuterie items may contain nuts, dairy, and chocolate It is the client’s responsibility to inform Cart & Co. Curacao in advance of any dietary concerns. Cart & Co. Curacao is not liable for allergic reactions where no prior notice was given. 3. Hygiene and staffing 3.1 Hygiene standards Cart & Co. Curacao follows strict hygiene protocols: •All carts and food service equipment are thoroughly cleaned before and after each event •Hosts wear gloves and aprons during food service 3.2 Service team Each cart includes at least one uniformed Cart & Co. Curacao hostess to serve and assist guests during the agreed service window. 4. Service terms 4.1 Service duration Service will be provided only during the hire period agreed in advance. Requests to extend service may be considered, depending on availability, and may result in additional charges. 4.2 Pack-up and departure After service ends, Cart & Co. Curacao will pack up and leave the event venue in accordance with what has been agreed with the client or their event organizer. Any need for extended presence or next-day pickup should be discussed during the booking process. 4.3 Product quantity We always bring a small buffer of extra product to ensure a smooth service, but please keep in mind that service is based on the number of guests and package selected. Portions are not unlimited. Clients are encouraged to book based on an accurate guest count. 5. Cancellations and rescheduling 5.1 Cancellation by Cart & Co. Curacao In rare cases such as severe weather or safety risks, Cart & Co. Curacao by SJLRock B.V. reserves the right to cancel. In this event, the client may choose between a full refund or rescheduling (subject to availability). 5.2 Cancellation by the client Cancellations must be made in writing by the person who submitted the booking. •Cancellations made at least seven (7) days prior to the event will receive a full refund of the deposit. •Cancellations made less than seven (7) days before the event will result in the loss of the deposit. - Weather policy for outdoor events: When event is scheduled to take place outdoors, we kindly ask you to arrange an indoor backup location in case of rain or inclement weather. Cancellations due to normal weather conditions on the day of the event (e.g., rain, wind) are not possible, as preparations for your cart and event will have already been finalized. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure a suitable indoor location is available if needed. No rescheduling or cancellation will be accepted from anyone other than the original client. 6. Communication All event-related communication must be done via email. This ensures clear documentation and allows Cart & Co. Curacao to share all relevant information efficiently. Curacao by SJLRock B.V. is not liable for: •Delays due to inaccessibility or unfit event locations •Failure to provide power, water, or suitable setup space •Guest behavior that causes disruption or damage •Allergic reactions when dietary information was not communicated in advance The client is responsible for damages caused to the cart, equipment, or décor by guests or other third parties during the event. 8. Force majeure Cart & Co. Curacao shall not be held liable for failure to perform its obligations under these terms due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, power outages, or transportation delays. 9. Agreement By submitting a booking request and paying the deposit, the client confirms they have read and agreed to these terms and conditions in full. These terms form a binding agreement between the client and Cart & Co. Curacao by SJLRock B.V. Effective Date: 11 May 2025
